yaya svapnam bhayam shokam vishadam madam eva cha

न विमुञ्चति दुर्मेधा धृतिः सा पार्थ तामसी॥
The resolve by which a dull-minded person refuses to let go of sleepiness, fear, grief, despair and arrogance, that, Arjuna, is tamasic resolve.
What it means
We can be stubborn in the wrong direction too, holding on to fear, sadness or pride as if our life depended on it. Sometimes strength means letting a heavy feeling go.How it helps in real life
- In grief: Two years after the breakup, you still refuse to stop checking her profile. Block it today, and let the heavy grief begin to lift.
- With family: Too proud to call your brother after a fight three years ago? Drop the pride and call him on his birthday this year.
