Bhagavad Gita · Moksa Sannyasa Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 18.2 meaning
kamyanam karmanam nyasam sannyasam kavayo viduh
sarvakarmaphalatyagam prahus tyagam vichakshanah
Krishna said: The wise say sannyasa means giving up actions done out of personal desire. The clear-sighted say tyaga means giving up the fruits of all actions.
What it means
Renunciation is not running away from life. One kind drops selfish projects; the deeper kind keeps working but lets go of clinging to results. That second kind is possible for anyone, anywhere.
Spoken by Krishna.
