those thoughtless people torment the elements of their own body and Me who live within the body. Know them to be of demonic resolve.
What it means
Your body is not an enemy to be punished. Krishna says the divine lives inside it. Hurting yourself in the name of spirituality is not devotion; caring for your body is part of caring for your soul. How it helps in real life
- Health & body: Skipping meals and sleep for your Navratri fast until you faint? Eat simple fasting food, rest well, and treat your body as a temple.
- Every day: Before your morning workout, thank your body instead of punishing it. Warm up gently and train to feel strong, not to suffer.
Spoken by Krishna.
