Bhagavad Gita 17.12 meaning

What it means
When good deeds are done to gain something or to look good, they lose their purity. It is still effort, but it ties us to results and other people's opinions. How it helps in real life
- Helping others: Photographing yourself handing food to the homeless for Instagram? Put the phone away next time and simply serve.
- At work: Volunteering for the CSR drive only to impress HR before appraisals? Choose one cause you actually care about and show up regularly.
Spoken by Krishna.
