Bhagavad Gita 16.19 meaning
tan aham dvishatah krooran sansareshu naradhaman
kshipamy-ajasram ashubhan asureeshv-eva yonishu
Those cruel, hateful and lowest of people, full of wrongdoing, I keep casting again and again into demonic births in the cycle of worldly life.
What it means
This is the law of karma in Krishna's words: cruelty and hatred keep producing more of the same. The person who chooses hate keeps landing in a darker life, until they choose differently. How it helps in real life
- When you are angry: You've been posting hateful comments online for weeks. Notice how dark your mood has become, and delete one today.
- With friends: A friend keeps dragging you into bitter gossip about others. Step back politely, change the subject, and spend more time with kinder people.
Spoken by Krishna.
