mam aprapy-aiva kaunteya tato yanty-adhamam gatim
आसुरीं योनिमापन्ना मूढा जन्मनि जन्मनि।
मामप्राप्यैव कौन्तेय ततो यान्त्यधमां गतिम्॥
Having fallen into demonic births, these deluded ones, birth after birth, never reach Me, Arjuna, and sink to an even lower state.
What it means
Bad habits feed on themselves. Each time we choose anger or greed, the next choice becomes easier, and the path back to goodness feels farther. The good news: the same works for good habits. How it helps in real life
- When you are angry: Each angry outburst at home makes the next one easier. Tonight, when you feel it rising, walk out for five minutes instead.
- Health & body: One cigarette after work has become a pack. Reverse the loop: skip just today's first one and replace it with a walk.
