Bhagavad Gita 16.16 meaning
anekachittavibhranta mohajalasamavritah
prasaktah kamabhogeshu patanti narakeshuchau
Confused by many thoughts, caught in a net of delusion and attached to the enjoyment of desires, they fall into a foul hell.
What it means
A scattered mind, pulled in many directions by cravings, creates its own kind of hell: restlessness, guilt and emptiness. Freedom starts when we notice the net we are caught in.How it helps in real life
- Phone & habits: You jump between five apps, three tabs and two chats at midnight. Write your scattered thoughts on paper, switch off, and sleep.
- Big decisions: Caught in a habit you feel guilty about, like late-night gambling apps? Name the net honestly today and tell one trusted person.
Spoken by Krishna.
