Bhagavad Gita 15.6 meaning
na tad bhasayate sooryo na shashanko na pavakah
yad gatva na nivartante tad dhama paramam mama
न तद्भासयते सूर्यो न शशाङ्को न पावकः।
यद्गत्वा न निवर्तन्ते तद्धाम परमं मम॥
Neither the sun, nor the moon, nor fire lights up that place. Having reached it, no one returns. That is my supreme home.
What it means
There is a light that does not depend on the sun or any outside source. It shines from within. When outer lights fail us, that inner light remains. How it helps in real life
- When you are worried: A power cut during a stormy night and your kids are scared. Light a diya, sit together, and tell them about the light inside.
- In grief: Every outside support collapsed this year, job, relationship and savings. Sit quietly tonight and find the steady light still burning within you.
