Entering the earth, I sustain all beings with my energy. Becoming the moon, full of nourishing sap, I feed all the plants.
What it means
The ground that holds us up and the plants that feed us are both expressions of the divine. Treat the earth and food with respect; they are gifts that sustain us every day.How it helps in real life
- Health & body: Wasting half your lunch in the office bin? Take smaller portions, finish what you take, and thank the farmer silently before eating.
- As a parent: Your kids think food comes from delivery apps. Grow tulsi and tomatoes on the balcony with them this month.
Spoken by Krishna.
