Bhagavad Gita 15.12 meaning
yad adityagatam tejo jagad bhasayatekhilam
yach chandramasi yach chagnau tat tejo viddhi mamakam
The light in the sun that illumines the whole world, and the light in the moon and in fire, know that brightness to be mine.
What it means
Every sunrise, every moonlit night, every lamp is a reminder of the divine. You don't need to look far for the sacred; it shines in the most ordinary light around you.How it helps in real life
- Every day: When you light the morning lamp at home, pause for three breaths and see the divine in that small flame.
- When you feel alone: Alone on a rooftop in Mumbai at night, feeling invisible? Look at the moon for a minute and feel the same light that watches over home.
Spoken by Krishna.
