Bhagavad Gita 14.6 meaning
tatra sattvam nirmalatvat prakashakam anamayam
sukhasangena badhnati jnanasangena chanagha
Of these, goodness, being pure, is bright and healthy. Yet it binds too, sinless Arjuna, through attachment to happiness and attachment to knowledge.
What it means
Calm, clarity and learning are wonderful, but even these can become a trap if you get proud of them or cling to feeling good. Enjoy peace without making it another possession. How it helps in real life
- With friends: You've started looking down on friends who party while you meditate. Notice the pride, join them for dinner, and enjoy their company.
- Studies & exams: After your master's you correct everyone at family dinners. Let one wrong fact pass tonight and ask your uncle about his work instead.
Spoken by Krishna.
