Goodness, passion and dullness, the three qualities born of nature, bind the eternal soul to the body, mighty-armed Arjuna.
What it means
Everyone is driven by three tendencies: clarity, restless drive, and heaviness. Even good qualities can bind us if we cling to them. Knowing which one is running you is the first step to freedom. How it helps in real life
- Every day: Each morning, check yourself: clear, restless or heavy? If restless, breathe slowly for two minutes; if heavy, get up and move first.
- When you succeed: Proud of being the calm, wise one among your friends? Watch that even this good image doesn't become something you cling to.
Spoken by Krishna.
