Bhagavad Gita 14.25 meaning
manapamanayos tulyas tulyo mitraripakshayoh
sarvarambhaparityagee gunateetah sa uchyate
Equal in honour and insult, equal to friend and foe, letting go of all self-driven ventures: such a person is said to have gone beyond the qualities.
What it means
When respect and insult both slide off you, ego has lost its grip. You can still act and work hard, but without needing every action to feed your image. How it helps in real life
- When you succeed: A big newspaper just featured your startup. Read it once, share it with your team, and spend the afternoon on customer calls as usual.
- At work: A competitor insults you publicly on LinkedIn. Don't respond with a post of your own; just keep building and serving your clients.
Spoken by Krishna.
