Bhagavad Gita · Gunatraya Vibhaga Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 14.26 meaning
mam cha yovyabhicharena bhaktiyogena sevate
sa gunan samateety-aitan brahmabhooyaya kalpate
One who serves me with unwavering, loving devotion rises beyond these qualities and becomes fit to become one with Brahman.
What it means
Krishna offers a simple path above all these moods: steady, loving devotion. When your heart is anchored in something higher, the ups and downs of life lose their power over you.How it helps in real life
- When you are worried: Swinging between hope and dread while waiting for the H-1B lottery? Anchor each day with ten minutes of bhajan or prayer.
- Every day: Your moods swing wildly through the week. Start each morning by offering a flower or a folded-hand pranam, the same way every day.
Spoken by Krishna.
