Bhagavad Gita 14.24 meaning
samaduhkhasukhah svasthah samalosht-ashmakanchanah
tulyapriyapriyo dheeras tulyanind-atmasanstutih
They are the same in pain and pleasure, rooted in the Self. A clod of earth, a stone and gold are equal to them. Calm and wise, they treat the pleasant and unpleasant, blame and praise alike.
What it means
A steady person isn't knocked over by praise or criticism, gain or loss. Gold and gravel don't change their inner worth. That kind of stability is true wealth no market can take away.
Spoken by Krishna.
