Bhagavad Gita · Ksetra Ksetrajna Vibhaga Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 13.31 meaning
yada bhootaprithagbhavam ekastham anupashyati
tata eva cha vistaram brahma sampadyate tada
When one sees that the separate existence of all beings rests in the One, and that they all spread out from that One alone, then one attains Brahman.
What it means
Like waves rising from one ocean, all lives come from one source. When you truly feel this, the walls between 'me' and 'them' soften, and a deep sense of belonging takes their place. How it helps in real life
- When you feel alone: First week in a new flat in Dubai or London, and nobody knows you. Remember you belong to one big family; greet your neighbour today.
- With friends: Your friend group mocks people from another state. Gently say we all come from one source, and change the topic.
Spoken by Krishna.
