Bhagavad Gita 13.32 meaning
anaditvan nirgunatvat paramatmayam avyayah
shareerasthopi kaunteya na karoti na lipyate
Because it has no beginning and is beyond the qualities of nature, this imperishable Supreme Self, Arjuna, though dwelling in the body, neither acts nor is stained.
What it means
Whatever your body goes through, your deepest self stays untouched. Mistakes, illness and hardship affect the surface, but they cannot stain the core of who you are.How it helps in real life
- Health & body: A long illness has left you weak and self-conscious. Remind yourself each morning that your core self is untouched, and take one small step.
- After a setback: A public mistake at work has you feeling stained. Own it, fix it, and remember the deepest part of you was never damaged.
Spoken by Krishna.
