Bhagavad Gita 13.16 meaning
bahir antash cha bhootanam acharam charam eva cha
sookshmatvat tad avijneyam doorastham chantike cha tat
It is outside and inside all beings, both moving and still. Being so subtle, it cannot be grasped. It is far away, and yet very near.
What it means
What you search for in the far distance may be closest of all, inside you. The sacred is too subtle for the senses, but not too far for a quiet, attentive heart. How it helps in real life
- Big decisions: Planning yet another expensive retreat to find peace? First try sitting quietly in your own room for ten minutes each night this week.
- When you feel alone: Feeling God is far away since you moved to Singapore with no temple nearby? Sit at your desk, close your eyes, and feel the presence within.
Spoken by Krishna.
