Bhagavad Gita 11.31 meaning
akhyahi me ko bhavan ugraroopo namostu te devavara praseeda
vijnatum ichchami bhavantam adyam na hi prajanami tava pravrittim
आख्याहि मे को भवानुग्ररूपो नमोऽस्तु ते देववर प्रसीद।
विज्ञातुमिच्छामि भवन्तमाद्यं न हि प्रजानामि तव प्रवृत्तिम्॥
Tell me, who are you in this fierce form? I bow to you, greatest of gods; be gracious. I want to know you, the Original One, for I do not understand what you are doing.
What it means
Frightened but still curious, Arjuna asks: who are you, and what are you doing? Asking honest questions, even when scared, keeps us learning instead of freezing.हिंदी में अर्थ
मुझे बताइए, इस उग्र रूप में आप कौन हैं? हे देवश्रेष्ठ, आपको नमस्कार है, प्रसन्न होइए। मैं आपको, आदि पुरुष को, जानना चाहता हूँ, क्योंकि मैं आपका यह कार्य समझ नहीं पा रहा हूँ।
डरे हुए होने पर भी अर्जुन जिज्ञासु हैं: आप कौन हैं, क्या कर रहे हैं? डर के बीच भी सच्चे सवाल पूछना हमें जड़ होने से बचाता है।
