Bhagavad Gita 1.41 meaning

adharmabhibhavat krishna pradushyanti kulastriyah streeshu dushtasu varshneya jayate varnasankarah

Krishna, when lawlessness takes over, the women of the family are led astray, and when that happens, Varshneya, the social order breaks down.

What it means
This is Arjuna's argument in the terms of his own era: war kills men, leaving families unprotected and society in disorder. His real worry is the collapse of social stability that every war brings to everyone.

Spoken by Arjuna.
