Ashtavakra Gita 7.3 meaning

mayy-anantamahambhodhau vishvam nama vikalpana atishanto nirakara etad ev-aham asthitah

In me, the endless ocean, what we call 'the world' is only an idea. I am deeply peaceful and formless, and in this alone I stay.

What it means
Much of what stresses us is the story we build about the world, not the world itself. Resting in a calm, open awareness lets you hold those stories lightly and respond with a clear head.

Spoken by Janaka.
