Ashtavakra Gita · Chapter 7
Ashtavakra Gita 7.1 meaning
mayy-anantamahambhodhau vishvapota itas tatah
bhramati svantavatena na mam-asty-asahishnuta
In me, the endless ocean, the ship of the world drifts here and there, pushed by the winds of its own nature. I am not bothered by it.
What it means
Events will drift and change direction no matter what you do. You can watch the ship rock without feeling that you are sinking. That patience comes from knowing you are bigger than any single storm.
Spoken by Janaka.
