Ashtavakra Gita 6.2 meaning

I am like the great ocean, and the world is like its waves. This is true knowledge. So there is nothing to give up, nothing to grab, and nothing to dissolve.

What it means
The ocean does not need to stop its waves to stay the ocean. You do not need to silence every thought or event to be whole. Let life move on your surface while you stay deep.

Spoken by Janaka.
