Ashtavakra Gita 6.1 meaning
akashavad anantoham ghatavat prakritam jagat
iti jnanam tath-aitasya na tyago na graho layah
आकाशवदनन्तोऽहं घटवत्प्राकृतं जगत्।
इति ज्ञानं तथैतस्य न त्यागो न ग्रहो लयः॥
I am limitless like space; the world of nature is like a pot within it. This is true knowledge. So there is nothing to give up, nothing to grab, and nothing to dissolve.
What it means
Space holds every pot without being limited by it. When you see yourself as that open space, you stop fighting your circumstances. You do not need to reject or grab anything to be at peace.हिंदी में अर्थ
मैं आकाश की तरह अनंत हूँ, और प्रकृति से बना यह जगत उसमें घड़े की तरह है। यही ज्ञान है। इसलिए न कुछ छोड़ना है, न पकड़ना है, न मिटाना है।
आकाश हर घड़े को समाए रखता है, फिर भी उससे सीमित नहीं होता। खुद को वैसा खुला आकाश देखो, तो हालात से लड़ना छूट जाता है। शांति के लिए कुछ ठुकराना या पकड़ना ज़रूरी नहीं।
