Ashtavakra Gita 4.2 meaning
yat padam prepsavo deenah shakradyah sarvadevatah
aho tatra sthito yogee na harsham upagachchati
यत्पदं प्रेप्सवो दीनाः शक्राद्याः सर्वदेवताः।
अहो तत्र स्थितो योगी न हर्षमुपगच्छति॥
Indra and all the gods long helplessly for that state. Yet the yogi who is already established in it does not even become elated.

What others desperately chase, the truly settled person holds without gloating. Real fulfilment is quiet. If an achievement makes you restless to show it off, the peace has not quite arrived yet.हिंदी में अर्थ
इंद्र आदि सभी देवता जिस पद को पाने के लिए बेचैन रहते हैं, उसमें स्थित योगी को उससे कोई उछाल वाली खुशी भी नहीं होती।
जिसके पीछे दूसरे बेतहाशा भागते हैं, सच में स्थिर व्यक्ति उसे बिना इतराए रखता है। असली संतोष शांत होता है। अगर कोई उपलब्धि दिखाने को बेचैन करे, तो शांति अभी पूरी नहीं आई।
