Ashtavakra Gita 4.1 meaning
hant-atmajnasya dheerasya khelato bhogaleelaya
na hi sansaravaheekair moodhaih saha samanata
हन्तात्मज्ञस्य धीरस्य खेलतो भोगलीलया।
न हि संसारवाहीकैर्मूढैः सह समानता॥
Indeed, the wise one who knows the Self plays the game of life and its pleasures lightly. There is no comparison between him and confused people who carry the world like a heavy load.
What it means
Two people can live the same life, one as a joyful game and one as a crushing burden. The difference is inner understanding, not circumstances. Carry your responsibilities, but carry them lightly.हिंदी में अर्थ
सच में, आत्मा को जानने वाला धीर व्यक्ति जीवन और भोगों को खेल की तरह जीता है। संसार को भारी बोझ की तरह ढोने वाले भ्रमित लोगों से उसकी कोई बराबरी नहीं।
दो लोग एक-सा जीवन जी सकते हैं, एक खेल की तरह और दूसरा भारी बोझ की तरह। फर्क हालात का नहीं, समझ का है। ज़िम्मेदारियाँ उठाओ, पर हल्के मन से।
