Ashtavakra Gita 3.6 meaning
asthitah param-advaitam moksh-arthepi vyavasthitah
ashcharyam kamavashago vikalah kelishikshaya
He is settled in the highest non-duality and committed to liberation. Yet, strangely, he falls under the control of desire and is unsettled by old habits of pleasure-seeking.
What it means
Commitment to a higher goal does not instantly erase old habits. Expect them to resurface and do not be shocked when they do. Steady awareness, not self-blame, is what slowly loosens them.
Spoken by Ashtavakra.
