Ashtavakra Gita 3.5 meaning
sarvabhooteshu ch-atmanam sarvabhootani ch-atmani
muner janata ashcharyam mamatvam anuvartate
सर्वभूतेषु चात्मानं सर्वभूतानि चात्मनि।
मुनेर्जानत आश्चर्यं ममत्वमनुवर्तते॥
A sage knows the Self is in all beings and all beings are in the Self. How strange that even he still holds on to the feeling of 'this is mine.'

मुनि जानता है कि आत्मा सब प्राणियों में है और सब प्राणी आत्मा में हैं। आश्चर्य है कि फिर भी उसमें 'यह मेरा है' का भाव बना रहता है।
एकता की सुंदर बातें करने वाले भी अपनी चीज़ों, लोगों या रुतबे पर अधिकार जमाते हैं। 'मेरा' की आदत गहरी है। उसे प्यार से पकड़ते रहो, तभी समझ सच्ची रहती है।
