Ashtavakra Gita 3.3 meaning
vishvam sphurati yatr-edam taranga iva sagare
soham asm-eeti vijnaya kim deena iva dhavasi
विश्वं स्फुरति यत्रेदं तरङ्गा इव सागरे।
सोऽहमस्मीति विज्ञाय किं दीन इव धावसि॥
You know 'I am that in which this universe sparkles, like waves on the sea.' Knowing this, why do you run around like someone poor and desperate?
What it means
You already have more inner richness than you realise. Running around as if you are lacking, begging the world for worth, only drains you. Act from fullness, not from a feeling of scarcity.हिंदी में अर्थ
तुम जानते हो कि 'मैं वह हूँ जिसमें यह संसार सागर की लहरों की तरह चमकता है।' यह जानकर भी तुम किसी गरीब, बेचारे की तरह क्यों भाग रहे हो?
तुम्हारे भीतर जितनी दौलत है, उसका तुम्हें अंदाज़ा नहीं। खुद को कमज़ोर मानकर दुनिया से अपनी कीमत माँगते फिरना थकाता है। कमी के भाव से नहीं, भरेपन से काम करो।
