kva vikshepah kva ch-aikagryam kva nirbodhah kva moodhata
kva harshah kva vishado va sarvada nishkriyasya me
क्व विक्षेपः क्व चैकाग्र्यं क्व निर्बोधः क्व मूढता।
क्व हर्षः क्व विषादो वा सर्वदा निष्क्रियस्य मे॥
Where is distraction and where is focus, where is deep understanding and where is confusion? Where is joy and where is sorrow, for me who am always beyond action?

Focus and distraction, clarity and fog, happiness and sadness all rise and fall. You are the space in which they come and go, not the passing weather itself.हिंदी में अर्थ
कहाँ भटकाव और कहाँ एकाग्रता, कहाँ गहरी समझ और कहाँ मूढ़ता? कहाँ हर्ष और कहाँ विषाद, मेरे लिए जो सदा निष्क्रिय हूँ?
एकाग्रता और भटकाव, स्पष्टता और धुंध, खुशी और उदासी सब आते-जाते हैं। हम वह आकाश हैं जिसमें ये आते-जाते हैं, गुज़रता मौसम नहीं।
