Ashtavakra Gita 20.5 meaning
kva karta kva cha va bhokta nishkriyam sphuranam kva va
kv-aparoksham phalam va kva nihsvabhavasya me sada
Where is the doer, where is the enjoyer, where is action-free radiance? Where is direct realisation or its result, for me who have no fixed nature at all?
What it means
We are always trying to be the one who does, gets or achieves. Underneath, you are not a role or a result. Letting go of that frees you from the pressure of constant performance.
Spoken by Janaka.
