Ashtavakra Gita 2.17 meaning

bodhamatroham ajnanad upadhih kalpito maya evam vimrishato nityam nirvikalpe sthitir mama

I am pure awareness alone; out of ignorance I imagined limitations for myself. By reflecting on this constantly, I stay settled in a state free of mental conflict.

What it means
Many limits we feel are ones we put on ourselves. Regularly reminding yourself of this, like a daily practice, slowly quiets the inner arguing and leaves a calm, clear mind.

Spoken by Janaka.
