Ashtavakra Gita 18.98 meaning
mukto yathasthitisvasthah kritakartavyanirvritah
samah sarvatra vaitrishnyan na smaraty-akritam kritam
मुक्तो यथास्थितिस्वस्थः कृतकर्तव्यनिर्वृतः।
समः सर्वत्र वैतृष्ण्यान्न स्मरत्यकृतं कृतम्॥
The free one rests at ease in whatever condition he is, fulfilled in what had to be done. Craving nothing, he is even-minded everywhere and does not dwell on what he did or did not do.

मुक्त पुरुष जैसी भी स्थिति हो, उसमें सहज रहता है, जो करना था उसमें तृप्त है। तृष्णा न होने से हर जगह सम है और किए-अनकिए को याद नहीं करता।
जो किया और जो नहीं किया, उसे बार-बार दोहराना भारी आदत है। जब हम हालात से शांत होते हैं, तो पछतावे और सूचियों में नहीं, बस जीते हैं।
