Ashtavakra Gita 18.63 meaning
bhavanabhavanasakta drishtir moodhasya sarvada
bhavyabhavanaya sa tu svasthasyadrishtiroopinee
The confused person's attention is always stuck on thinking about something or trying not to think about it. The one at ease, though he may reflect, has a vision that is beyond any viewpoint.
What it means
Trying hard to think and trying hard not to think are both forms of struggle. A settled person lets thoughts come and go, without being trapped in any single way of seeing.
Spoken by Ashtavakra.
