Ashtavakra Gita 18.54 meaning
shrotriyam devatam teertham anganam bhoopatim priyam
drishtva sampoojya dheerasya na kapi hridi vasana
श्रोत्रियं देवतां तीर्थमङ्गनां भूपतिं प्रियम्।
दृष्ट्वा सम्पूज्य धीरस्य न कापि हृदि वासना॥
Whether he meets a learned priest, a deity, a holy place, a lovely woman, a king or a dear one, and honours them as is fitting, no craving stays in the wise one's heart.
