Ashtavakra Gita 18.33 meaning

ekagrata nirodho va moodhair abhyasyate bhrisham dheerah krityam na pashyanti suptavat svapade sthitah

Those still caught in confusion keep hard at practices of focusing and controlling the mind. The wise, resting in their own nature like someone asleep, see nothing that must be done.

What it means
Practice helps, but straining to force the mind still can become another fight. Once you are settled in yourself, there is nothing to fight. Peace stops being a project and becomes your natural state.

Spoken by Ashtavakra.
