Ashtavakra Gita 18.32 meaning

tattvam yathartham akarnya mandah prapnoti moodhatam atha vayati sankocham amoodhah kopi moodhavat

Hearing the truth as it really is, a dull person becomes confused. But a rare wise one turns quietly inward, looking almost dull to others.

What it means
The same truth confuses one person and settles another. The wise often do not show off what they understand. They become quieter and simpler, and people may even mistake that simplicity for slowness.

Spoken by Ashtavakra.
