Ashtavakra Gita · Chapter 18
Ashtavakra Gita 18.27 meaning
nanavicharasushranto dheero vishrantim agatah
na kalpate na janati na shrinoti na pashyati
Worn out by endless reasoning, the wise one has come to rest. Now he no longer imagines, no longer knows, no longer hears or sees in the old way.
What it means
There comes a point where more thinking does not help. The mind is tired of chasing answers. Letting it rest is not giving up; it is finally letting the dust settle so things become clear.
Spoken by Ashtavakra.
