Ashtavakra Gita 18.2 meaning
arjayitvakhilan arthan bhogan apnoti pushkalan
na hi sarvaparityagam antarena sukhee bhavet
अर्जयित्वाखिलानर्थान्भोगानाप्नोति पुष्कलान्।
न हि सर्वपरित्यागमन्तरेण सुखी भवेत्॥
By earning all kinds of wealth a person gains plenty of pleasures, but without letting go of everything inside, no one becomes truly happy.
What it means
Money can buy comfort, and that's fine. But lasting happiness needs something more: letting go of the inner clinging. Without that, more is never enough.हिंदी में अर्थ
सब तरह का धन कमाकर इंसान खूब सुख-साधन पा लेता है, पर भीतर से सब कुछ छोड़े बिना कोई सच में सुखी नहीं होता।
पैसा आराम ख़रीद सकता है, और यह ठीक है। पर टिकाऊ खुशी के लिए भीतर की पकड़ छोड़नी होती है। उसके बिना ज़्यादा भी कभी काफ़ी नहीं होता।
