Ashtavakra Gita 17.18 meaning

samadhanasamadhana-hitahitavikalpanah shoonyachitto na janati kaivalyam iva sansthitah

The one whose mind is empty doesn't think in terms of concentrated or scattered, good or bad. He rests as if in complete freedom.

What it means
Constant self-evaluation — am I focused, am I doing well — can itself be a burden. Sometimes the best state is simply not checking. Let the moment be what it is.

Spoken by Ashtavakra.
