Ashtavakra Gita 12.4 meaning
hey-opadeyavirahad evam harshavishadayoh
abhavad adya he brahmann evam ev-aham asthitah
हेयोपादेयविरहादेवं हर्षविषादयोः।
अभावादद्य हे ब्रह्मन्नेवमेवाहमास्थितः॥
With nothing left to reject or accept, and so no joy or sorrow, O wise one, today I stay just like this.

हमारे मन का ज़्यादा उतार-चढ़ाव इसी से है कि क्या रखें, क्या छोड़ें। जब यह छँटाई ढीली होती है, तो खुशी-ग़म की लहरें एक स्थिर शांति में बदल जाती हैं।
