Ashtavakra Gita 1.5 meaning
na tvam vipradiko varno nashramee nakshagocharah
asangosi nirakaro vishvasakshee sukhee bhava
न त्वं विप्रादिको वर्णो नाश्रमी नाक्षगोचरः।
असङ्गोऽसि निराकारो विश्वसाक्षी सुखी भव॥
You do not belong to any social class, nor to any stage of life, nor are you something the senses can see. You are unattached and formless, the witness of everything. Be happy.
What it means
Labels like caste, job, age or status describe your role, not who you are. Underneath every tag the world gives you is the same free awareness. Holding labels lightly makes life lighter.हिंदी में अर्थ
तुम न किसी वर्ण के हो, न किसी आश्रम के, और न आँखों से दिखने वाली चीज़ हो। तुम निर्लिप्त, निराकार और सबके साक्षी हो। सुखी रहो।
जाति, पद, उम्र या हैसियत जैसे लेबल तुम्हारी भूमिका बताते हैं, तुम्हें नहीं। हर ठप्पे के नीचे वही आज़ाद चेतना है। लेबलों को हल्के में लो, जीवन हल्का हो जाएगा।
