Yoga Sutras 4.33 meaning
kshana-pratiyogee parinam-aparanta-nirgrahyah kramah
क्षणप्रतियोगी परिणामापरान्तनिर्ग्राह्यः क्रमः॥
Sequence is the succession of moments, recognised only at the end of a process of change.
