Yoga Sutras 2.51 meaning
bahy-abhyantara-vishay-akshepee chaturthah
There is a fourth kind of prāṇāyāma that goes beyond the outer and inner range of breath, where breathing settles on its own.
What it means
With deep practice, you stop managing the breath at all. It becomes so quiet it seems to pause by itself. This effortless stillness is a sign that the mind, too, has become calm.
Spoken by Patanjali.
