शान्ता महान्तो निवसन्ति सन्तो वसन्तवल्लोकहितं चरन्तः ।
तीर्णाः स्वयं भीमभवार्णवं जनानहेतुनान्यानपि तारयन्तः ॥
Peaceful, great-hearted saints live in the world doing good like springtime. Having crossed the fearsome ocean of worldly life themselves, they help others across without any motive.

शांत, महान संत वसंत ऋतु की तरह लोक का भला करते हुए रहते हैं। खुद भयानक संसार-सागर पार करके, बिना किसी स्वार्थ के दूसरों को भी पार कराते हैं।
वसंत कोई मोल नहीं माँगता, बस जीवन लाता है। सबसे अच्छे लोग ऐसे ही होते हैं, दूसरों की मदद इसलिए करते हैं कि उन्हें शांति मिली है और वे उसे बाँटना चाहते हैं।
