There is no ignorance apart from the mind. The mind itself is ignorance, the cause of worldly bondage. When it is dissolved, everything dissolves; when it expands, everything expands.
What it means
Our experience of the world is filtered through the mind. When the mind is agitated, life feels chaotic; when it settles, so does everything else.
Spoken by Adi Shankaracharya.
