chittasya shuddhaye karma na tu vast-oopalabdhaye
vastusiddhir vicharena na kinchit karmakotibhih
चित्तस्य शुद्धये कर्म न तु वस्तूपलब्धये ।
वस्तुसिद्धिर्विचारेण न किञ्चित्कर्मकोटिभिः ॥
Action is for purifying the mind, not for grasping Reality. Reality is reached through inquiry, not through millions of actions.

Good work and service clean up the mind, which is valuable. But insight into life's deepest questions needs honest reflection, not just more activity. Do good work, and also make time to think deeply.हिंदी में अर्थ
कर्म मन की शुद्धि के लिए है, सत्य को पाने के लिए नहीं। सत्य विचार से मिलता है, करोड़ों कर्मों से ज़रा भी नहीं।
अच्छे कर्म और सेवा मन को साफ़ करते हैं, यह कीमती है। पर जीवन के गहरे सवालों की समझ के लिए ईमानदार चिंतन चाहिए, सिर्फ़ और ज़्यादा भाग-दौड़ नहीं।
