evam etat kapishreshtha bhavita natra sanshayah
loka hi yavat sthasyanti tavat sthasyati me katha
एवमेतत्कपिश्रेष्ठ भविता नात्र संशयः।
लोका हि यावत्स्थास्यन्ति तावत्स्थास्यति मे कथा॥
So it shall be, best of monkeys, without any doubt. As long as the worlds endure, my story will endure.
What it means
Rama grants Hanuman's wish and promises his story will last as long as the world. Thousands of years later, the Ramayana is still told in homes everywhere, keeping that promise alive.हिंदी में अर्थ
ऐसा ही होगा, हे कपिश्रेष्ठ, इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं। जब तक लोक रहेंगे, तब तक मेरी कथा भी रहेगी।
राम हनुमान की इच्छा पूरी करते हैं और वचन देते हैं कि उनकी कथा संसार के रहने तक रहेगी। हज़ारों साल बाद भी घर-घर रामायण सुनाई जाती है।
