na nah kshamam veeryavata tena dharmanuvartina
vairam nirarthakam kartum deeyatam asya maithilee
न नः क्षमं वीर्यवता तेन धर्मानुवर्तिना।
वैरं निरर्थकं कर्तुं दीयतामस्य मैथिली॥
It does us no good to start a pointless feud with someone so mighty and devoted to dharma. Let Sita be returned to him.
