vinashe bahavo dosha jeevan prapnoti bhadrakam
tasmat pranan dharishyami dhruvo jeevati sangamah
विनाशे बहवो दोषा जीवन्प्राप्नोति भद्रकम्।
तस्मात्प्राणान्धरिष्यामि ध्रुवो जीवति संगमः॥
Ending one's life brings many evils; one who lives can still find good fortune. So I will hold on to life, for those who live surely meet again.
